Founded by Max McCuddy, whose family has owned and operated marinas throughout the Portland area since the 1950s, our agency is built on generations of firsthand experience in marina ownership, operations, and management. Having grown up in the marine industry, Max witnessed a challenge that many marina owners, yacht clubs, marine businesses, and vessel owners continue to face today—finding an insurance agency that truly understands the unique risks of the marine world.

While many agencies insure everything from restaurants to contractors to retail stores, marine businesses often require a deeper level of industry knowledge.
